I happened to call DCL twice this morning (wanted to change a cabin #) and I asked both if they've heard anything. One is interested in the WBTA himself, and the other one had friends who did it last year and loved it. Neither one knew when they were going to be released though. Much like us, they hear rumors but nothing definite.

I will keep hoping that they have it, it's at a price I can afford, and an debarkation point that I can do.

I too hope this cruise will come to light. I am sure it will - if they are going East, they need to come back West and to Home. I too hope it is a good price, and debarkation port I can do as well Holly.

All the chatter seems to be on Facebook at the moment...

People are discussing other cruiselines transatlantic cruises but the majority want to stick to Disney....

The ship is just the right size...the booze rule is good....AND THE FELLOW PASSENGERS ARE THE BEST....

I hope we hear something soon. I know we are all saving towards this 2013 cruise but it would be great to know the goal is IN PRINT - ON LINE - AND AVAILABLE!!

I am with you babydiver. The passengers on a Disney cruise are like no others. The best of the best!!! Please Disney give us an answer and soon - we're going crazy here!!!

One thing that I have thought about, is are they going to make any major changes to the ship whilst in Dry Dock?

New bar, new restautant, make something bigger etc?

If they do we will probably be the first to try it out.


Ports are still booked so it is still on in my mind.

We are recently hooked to DCL so won't be cruising any other cruiseline, Disney all the way for us!!!

I love the fact the Magic isn't huge and there is the alcohol thing (just a small matter!)

I am now happy to wait for the release date and info as I know this cruise will happen, Mickey will come good this time!!

I think this is why we are a bit nervous about the cost of this WBTA especially if they put in magic portholes and such. I have a feeling that tring to figure out what they are doing for dry dock, is one reason why they are waiting to announce the WBTA (if it happens).

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of 2013. We will have been on three of the four ships, so we are curious to see where the Wonder will be. If we are priced out of a TA, we could see about that possibility.

Wow, late to the party! It is looking like our family (and extended family) will be cruising the Magic back to the US! DH is DJ and I'm Kim. Our DS, Casen, will be 3 come cruise time and our DD, Elliot, will be almost 2.

ETA- I just read the 50+pgs and saw the intros.

Soooo, we will be making a major life-changing move away from family and the only place I have ever known to FL in just a few weeks.

We are self-professed Disney-aholics, love to vacation, and enjoy nothing more than sitting on the beach with drink in hand. I'm learning to be crafty-->got a Cricut and sewing machine for Christmas (I just hope my fam thinks I'm "bored" since ALL I do is take care of the kids all day!!!)

There's lots of us UK people on here. I did the EBTA in 2007 and although it was fab loosing 1 hour a day every day really was awful! It was like getting jet lag every day (although getting back to UK after the cruise causes jet lag too but its only once instead of 5 times).

Anyway hope that makes sense lol?

My advice- annual passes, Florida discount rates, and sunblock lotion.
We've been talking about relocating back to Florida when hubby retires in about 15 years.
Unless Disney needs someone to take care of its airplanes!!

Since the itineraries that were announced did nothing for me, it looks more like a possibility that I WILL do the WBTA (can't go a year without a DCL cruise, can I???). Now, if this could leave out of Venice, that would be ideal

Thanks for the welcome everyone! We are excited for the new adventure ahead of us! Now if only DCL would announce the WBTA and I could add another journey to this new adventure! For those of you who reside in the home of the World, I may be asking some advice in the future if that is ok!
