I called DCL today to see how much it would be to upgrade to a cat. 5 or 6 verandah cabin, and they are totally booked and only have category 4's available.

Do you think the odds of getting a cat 6 or cat 5 when we get within the 60 day mark (when money is due) are good?

Do many people cancel?

And a full ship it will be. Just hope it isn't like Hydsters cruise, overflowing with kids. Although could it be more crowded than the Inaugural Western cruise we went on? That didn't seem overloaded with kids, but I'm sure it was. I like a lot of ports.

Just for fun, I went to check and on the website they offerered me that one option of a cat 4 - at $8,000 Plus dollars

Personally, I'd keep checking back at that 60 day mark; and if you want a verandah and it becomes available I'd grab it at that point. I wouldn't take a chance of any up grade at the port.

We were on the 3rd 7 day cruise when they first came out. Lots and lots of kids. I will say this time of the year it will be mostly New York/New Jersey/ area groups. As we go back to school the latest, most others are already back.
