No ticket discount for DVC?

I've been away from the DIS for a while and am just getting back into it. Sorry if this has been asked multiple times!!!

Is there no longer a discount for DVC members for tickets into WDW?

Our annual pass expires the day before we fly back home. I thought if we could get into a park at a reasonable price, we'd visit for 1/2 day before flying home. But, I can't find any discount for DVC or annual pass holders. (I thought there used to be one)

only discounts on the annual passes. There is also a small discount on the waterpark entry fees;i think it's like $4 a person off,hope this helps.

Your AP expires one year +1 day after you activate it. So if you started on say July 5th, 2005 you have admission up to and including July 5th, 2006.

Hopefully this will give you that 1 day you are looking for.

Too bad about not having a discount for a single day ticket.

Our passes expire on Sept 15th and we're coming back home on the 16th. Maybe we'll go to DTD for a bit before catching our plane. We typically spend our departure day in a park and leave around 4pm for the airport. However, I'm spoiled with the passes. Of course, we could renew them, but with spending our points on the cruise and a week at WDW, we're thinking we won't going back to WDW until next Sept/Oct - we'll just buy new passes then and get two trips out of them )

I agree wholeheartedly. We make it to Disney only once a year, so the AP discount is totally worthless to us (there always seems to be slightly more than a year in between trips). I'd much rather see a DVC ticket discount (other than AP) than the DDP for DVCers. Don't use the latter but would jump at the chance for the former.

FWIW, Disney doesn't discount 1 day passes.
