No THIGH GAP !!

I DO NOT have a "thigh gap" and I'm always having to tug at my shorts to keep them pulled down between my thighs. I ordered some athletic type capri leggings and I also have a pair of compression shorts. After thinking about it, I'm thinking that compression shorts under regular running type shorts may be too hot. What's the most comfortable thing you ladies with this same problem have worn to the parks at the end of September? I'm the type that likes to have my butt covered if I'm wearing something like leggings.

I started wearing Sparkle Skirts earlier this year (got into them because of running) and they are amazing for theme parks! They essentially are a pair of compression shorts with a skirt over, and generally look pretty cute. Great for the parks as very comfortable, and there are also pockets to put things like phone and all. Wore them about half the time in WDW last week...

I bought 2 athletic skorts at llbean last year that had shorts built in- they were fitted but not too tight, minimized rubbing and kept me cool. It was mega hot. I looooove them.

I get shorts that are about half way between "bootie" and bermuda - just past the point where my thighs touch. I'm so short bermuda always look funny on me. I have to do a "walk test" in the dressing room before I commit though! I could NEVER do a dress! My poor legs would start chaffing within minutes!

My inner thighs rub like no other.
I would suggest getting shorts with an appropriate length inseam.
Many shorts are 3 inch inseam. I find that if I wear shorts that are a 4.5 inch insteam they are still very cute on me but long enough that they don't ride up my inner thighs.
For capris I love the Danskin Now brand at Walmart. I just get the black ones and they go with just about everything.
Or you could wear dresses/skirts and then what I wear under so my thighs don't rub is Jockey Skimmies slip shorts although someone just recommended "bandlettes". At first glance I don't think they would work but I may end up trying them.

I wear dri-fit capris or cotton stretch capris, I like 90 degrees brand and Mondetta. With that I get long tank undershirts and a drapey top.

I wear sundresses and 7" shorts. I bought a couple of skorts that are similar to sparkle skirts but only cost $20 each to wear next week.

The best tip I got on this board was to get a body glide product. I use Gold Bond friction protector every day before heading out to the parks, reapply as needed.

Stops any chafing, it's wonderful.
Haha, speaking of that. We used the same brand. DH had never used it before and he's a hefty guy. After two days of using it (he was skeptical at first) he was like "this is liquid gold for fat people, I'm never doing hot summers without this again". I was like well it's gold for lots of people but yah.

LOL. I prefer the Anti-Monkey Butt, but to each his own.... :joker:

If you like them but don't LOVE them, give the SparkleSkirts a try. They are definitely pricey, but the quality is amazing and they are 100% "tugless!" I can run 13 miles in one and NEVER have to pull the legs down! I was skeptical but was sold with the first wearing.

I have Bermuda shorts but whenever I decide to wear regular shorts I use baby powder or an athletic stick on my thighs and I reply it a couple times while going through the day.

I wear denim skirts with cut off leggings that go to my knees (at that length they don't hike up). I have walked around Six Flags during 100 degree days and never had any issues.

I have tried the anti-friction creams, and they do work for a time, but I hate having to keep reapplying it.
