No-Theme November Exercise Thread

Welcome to the No-Theme November Exercise Thread! I'm afraid I'm fresh out of ideas this month, so I'll probably just post random Disney-related articles that I come across and such miscellany.

Here's how it works:
Each person chooses a time goal and posts minutes towards that goal as they exercise. You can post daily or just catch up when you can. You decide what movement counts towards your goal - which can be a nice round total for the month, a specific number that means something to you, or a calculation based on a target number of minutes per day. Since November has 30 days, here are some common conversions:

10 minutes/day = 300
15 minutes/day = 450
20 minutes/day = 600
30 minutes/day = 900
45 minutes/day = 1350
1 hour/day = 1800

One of the special motivations of our Disney challenge is color changing! Page one will be updated with individual and team color changes as we make more and more progress.
10% - Blue
25% - Orange
50% - Purple
75% - Pink
90% - Red
100% - Green

I am back. It has been a long 6ish weeks. I had a hysterectomy on September 15th and I have just been healing. Last weekend I think I have finally gotten over the hump and feel back to normal. Before last weekend, getting 3,000 steps exhausted me and I slept for 2 days. I am now getting between 4,000-6,000 and doing great.

I am going to start this month with 300 minutes and each month increase it to help build my stamina back up. I think I will blow pass this but also still want to be able to give myself some grace if there are days that I just can't.

I'm going to go for 1800 this month. In theory I should do well over this with being away but I'm not always good at recording what I do (and I don't fully trust the active minutes recorded on my tracker).

I'll add +184 for walks and runs so far this month, the bad weather has arrived so the treadmill is back out :umbrella:

I'm going to go a little bit crazy and shoot for 900 this month. Being at Disney for the Fall Marathon was pretty inspiring, and then my tussle with post-hurricane winds and currents on Castaway Cay convinced me that I need more cardio in my life. Hopefully I'll hit my minutes and get into a routine of weights and cardio soon. :)

So far, 60 minutes of weights on Sunday. :)

Welcome back! That's a major surgery, so it'll definitely take awhile to recover. Good idea to give yourself some grace.

I'm going to sit this one out - and possibly December since I've been called for federal jury duty that month - just not feeling up to it right now, but wishing you all a happy and active end of the year! Hope to see you in January if not before. If I get cut from jury duty in the first week, maybe I can still join then.

I know you're going through a tough time right now. Thanks for letting us know not to expect you. Good luck with jury duty. (When I was called for federal, I had to call every week of the month to see if they needed me the next week--but I never had to go in.)
 
@piglet1979 It's good to have you back! Take your time and I'll be rooting for your continued recovery.

@Twilight Sparkle We'll miss you! I hope you don't have to go in for jury duty! What a hassle...

I'm joining November and will shoot for 600 minutes. I have 20 minutes so far for Monday evening! Hopefully I'll have more minutes to add later for my bedtime yoga.
