No Target Stores--is Redcard Still Worth It?

Do you have a Costco near your home? They give an almost 10% in store credit for booking a Disney cruise thru them.

I use the target debit card and get my 5% off including gift cards. The lady at the service desk at target told me that if you only buy a gift card you don't get the discount you need to also buy something else... Don't know if that is true as I always buy something else!!!

Anyway, get the card because target is awesome and you get free shipping on every single order with the card!!!

Ok, so excited about learning about the target red card 5%, so thought of an added twist to this. since they are available online, go through your preferred airlines website and you can get 1 mile for every dollar spent at Target... let your cruise pay for your flights too...

I googled it and from what I saw, it expired 12/15.

Not sure what she was speaking about I purchased an Itunes card which has the same rules as the Disney card just yesterday and got 5% off. Also if you get your prescriptions filled at Target when there are 5 they send you a 5% off card this results in a little less than 10% because the take each 5% separately off the remaining balance.

I was able to purchase $1500 in Disney gc's at Target in June with my Red debit card without purchasing anything else. The only issue we ran into was that it had to be broken up into multiple transactions--they weren't sure if it was my bank or Red card stopping it but after a little hassle it all worked out in the end

Best deal for spending money and tickets for our WDW trip.

Sometimes store manager will have their own rules in that particular store, so that may be why you had to purchase something else.
In a chain store, the rules should be uniform.
You don't pay sales tax on gift cards because you pay it when you redeem for merchandise.
