We leave on 9/2 and still havent gotten our tags, When/ If they do get they will have the wrong resort. So we will go ahead and claim our bags . Are we going to need to tip anyone?

Im also cosidering one way limo service.I know i need to tip them. Do any of them offer free grocery stop for one way only?

If you take ME they do mention that a tip for the driver would be appreciated.
I would check with the board sponser, FL Tours and see if they include a grocery stop for one way. And, btw, even if you have changed resorts as long as you have notified Disney of the change, your bags will get there regardless of what the tags say. They are bar coded with your name and info change it with Disney and the bar code will read the correct info.

Anytime anyone touches your bags, they are entitled to a tip. This drove my dh crazy at the Polynesian on one trip....he had to tip the limo driver who put our bags on the ground, had to tip the porter who then took them and put them on the 'dolly thingie', then the guy who actually took them to the room. And all these people stood there, waiting with that 'look' so we knew we were expected to 'cross their palms with silver' so to speak!!!
If you pick up your own bags at baggage claim and ride the DME bus to your resort, your bags will be put underneath the same bus you are riding on. So, the driver will 'touch' them in order to put them under and then again to get them out for you. So, a tip is in order...a few dollars a bag. I have had carryon only bags but still tipped because the driver was so incredibly entertaining on the ride to our resort.
As far as towncar services..you could give FL Tours a look, Tiffany Towncar..those are two that I myself have used and had decent experiences with. Not sure if they offer the free grocery stop on one way bookings though.

Most companies will do a store stop with a one way. That is a little touchy though. Best thing to do is to check when you call them.

If you do decide to use DME, you can still take advantage of the automatic luggage delivery even without the luggage tags at all. After your flight lands, skip baggage claim and go directly to the DME Welcome Center. When they ask if you tagged your bags tell them that you haven't. They'll ask for your baggage claim ticket numbers as well as a description of the bags. A CM will go to baggage claim, claim your bags for you, and then send them on their way with the rest of the DME luggage.

And as disneyldwjr posted, the fact that you changed resorts won't matter. The barcode on the DME tags accesses your reservation number in the computer. In other words, that barcode doesn't translate to "Caribbean Beach Resort," but rather it translates into "John Smith, reservation #12345678." Since the almighty Disney computer knows you recently changed your reservation to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter, the bags will be sent to POFQ and not to CBR.

It will be a good idea, however, to cross out the name of the "wrong" resort on the tags, just in case a well-meaning CM decides to "do the right thing" (thinking there was an error) and manually overrides the system by pulling your bags from the correct place and putting them with the "old" resort's bags.

Other than the limo driver you tip the bell when bags are delivered to the room.

Tips are not entitlments, tips are given for service. As a patron I ususally tip well unless the service is poor. As for tipping in the situation where the limo driver takes the bags out, a bell person puts them on a cart and a different bell person brings them to the room. I would tip the driver IF they had been pleasent, helped with the bags at the airport and gotten us safely and quickly to our destination. I would not tip the bell person who puts the bags on the cart. If they want a tip they can follow me with the cart into the lobby and up to my room, where I would tip really well for such good service.

If they don't follow me up to my room I tip the person who does bring the bags based on how long it took them to get the bags to me.
