No tables at Boma on Xmas day?

Christmas Eve has full breakfast and dinner options but there is nothing for Christmas Day. What’s more likely, that they haven’t been loaded yet or that they’re really sold out for both breakfast and dinner? I even tried smaller party sizes and nothing, and was on right at 6am.

We are trying for Boma for Christmas breakfast. We always go there, nothing available. So frustrated. Our window opened this morning and with all the glitches that occurred, not sure that helped. Trying not to be mad!!!

Yeah us too since we're staying at AKL. I could see it possibly being sold out for Xmas morning at 60+10 or whatever, but it doesn't make sense that dinner would be sold out too, it's not as popular I don't think. And especially when Dec 24 has full availability for both meals but you can't book anything for the 25th or 26th. Just seems weird. I wondered if maybe it got booked out for a private event but again, can't see that happening for both meals and I think weddings and the like usually have their own private dining rooms.

I was thinking the same, a private event? This is so frustrating. We decided only to do 2 TS this trip because the kids want to spend time in the park and at the pool. DH and DS wanted Sci-Fi, got that no problem on the 26th. My DD wanted Boma, like always for Christmas breakfast. I feel so bad I can't book it. We can get New Years Day-Morning, so I think I'll do that. This is the first year in forever that we won't be at Boma for Christmas breakfast. She will live and be fine, but I was hoping to get this for her. I was thinking Ale & Compass, but that too is gone. The kids have outgrown the characters and my DS would never eat $60 worth of food the entire 12 days we are there!:)

Don’t know for sure but a private event that lasts from breakfast to dinner on Christmas doesn’t sound right so hoping for you it’s the ever popular untimely loading of reservations at work.
👍🏾

Yeah we're in the same boat when it comes to character meals. Even if I wanted to enter the deathmatch for something like Toppolino's Terrace my kids simply don't care that much anymore, and even if they did I don't want to have to haul everyone there on Xmas morning versus just going downstairs practically still in our PJs. This is actually the first trip where I've booked 0 character meals, around the holidays we used to always do Minnie's Seasonal Dine and Crystal Palace at least. It's a little sad I guess but they're growing up. I just hope it's a glitch in the system and something opens up or I guess we'll be making do with the breakfast pizza at the Mara. :crazy2:

We go almost every year (Dollywood last year) and it is a little sad, my kids are growing up too. I'm still happy they want to go, dreading when they don't. Ale & Compass opened up, and will have a Christmas menu. My DH said Kona would be his choice, so that now is in the cards. My DD said Boma was fine for New Years Day, so I think that may be what we will. Still keeping my fingers crossed for Boma on Christmas morning!
