No swim suit!

We are in Florida, its embark day, husband forgot his board shorts. Anyone recently on the Dream know if they have them for sale on board?

I seem to recall that they had a small selection of bathing suits on board but can’t really say more than that. Selection may be very limited.

Can you stop somewhere along the way?

If you are boarding in Port Canaveral...there is a Walmart not too far away...I may have bought a belt there before!!

I believe they have them on the pool deck in a small kiosk and also in the stores.
I agree if you can stop at a Walmart or Target, you may do better in price and selection.

We have stopped at the Target that is 10 mins from the ship for all three cruises we’ve taken out of Port Canaveral!! But they do have shorts on board...just expensive and hope they have his size!

The onboard shops won’t be open until this evening after the ship leaves port. I’d try to stop somewhere on the way to port.

Are you at a Disney hotel? They may have some in the gift shop. If you are at the airport they should have some there too

(to your hubby) From one forgetful husband to another... don't feel too bad. My wife swears that I am collecting Mickey Mouse swim suits (the black ones they sell at the Contemporary, with the little white Mickey embroidered on it). I have... (ashamed to say) 4 of them. I intended to buy zero of them.... I think I'm learning though- I've only forgotten my swimsuit once in the past 3 years..

Hampton Inn on Gateway. Really nice and friendly, plus they do a fly snooze cruise thing, I found out about this AM. Highly recommend. I almost forced husband to make the make the breakfast run to the resorts for this reason. Ubering to Walmart now. Lol

Ahhh, so it IS a chronic condition! Aren't you supposed to, as a spouse, support your husbands issues, and pack the swimsuit for him?
(you can imagine how well that argument went over, at BLT 3 years ago, as I came back to the room with another Mickey swimsuit)

Is that shop ever open? I've never seen a cm in it. They have the lights on and doors closed. I've never tried to open the doors to see if they are unlock since I never see anyone in it. I thought maybe you can go in, get what you want and take it somewhere else to pay for it???? I'd like to go inside to see what all they have.

I always pack DH's swim trunks.. If I didnt he would purposely forget them.

This is the reason we use a master packing list! Every time we travel we add anything we forgot or wish we had packed. We may not pack everything on the master list for every trip, but at least we have the reminder there!

Yes the ship sells swim suits. Limited selection and pricey, but hey they are there. Otherwise maybe wait until your first port day. Maybe shopping there is any option.

They also sell them on Castaway Cay if that's where he is planning on using them. Larger selection than that on board.
