I feel stupid asking, but can someone clarify what "no sugar added" means in regards to Disney desserts? Does that mean that they always have an artificial sweetener? I'm really sensitive to art. sweeteners, and don't let my kids have them, but some of the GF options for my son are "no sugar added", as well as other fruit based desserts (sometimes the only other option at a CS place.)
I won't even bother asking for the ingredients if they ALL have art. sweeteners, but if it's only some of them, I might.

I avoid the 'no sugar added' items because it's my understanding that they are in fact artificially sweetened. I wish it really was no sugar added.... but it's just 'sugar replaced with sugar substitute'.

aspartame or other fake sugar instead.

Sugar alcohols. None I have seen with Splenda. I am better off eating the regular dessert as long as it is dairy free and counting the carbs

Specifically, what it means is that there might be sugar in it that comes from the ingredients, but that no sugar was added to it.

A frozen fruit bar that is 100% fruit is going to have sugar in it because the fruit has sugar in it. But sugar won't be listed as an ingredient.

The "No Sugar Added" label is there to signify a possibly healthier option. But they can't call it "Sugar Free" if there is 'Sugars' listed on the nutrition label.

If it has artificial sweeteners it will likely be labeled "Sugar Free". Or "Low Calorie"

Well...that's my question. I could have a fruit only bar (no sweeteners added at all), but I question how one could have a "no sugar added" cupcake (like at BOG) without artificial sweeteners, so am asking because I assume it DOES have artificial sweetener. Having things called "no sugar added" with and without artificial sweeteners is very confusing. I wish it said "sweetened with splenda" or whatever.

Yeah, no I'm pretty sure the no sugar added gluten free cream puff at BoG is sweetened with an artificial sweetener.
