No Sugar Added Desserts??

Is there a list of No Sugar Added desserts at the World?

My DH is a diabetic and is really trying to be good. I would like to give him a list of things to look for or try. I have heard about the Chocolate Mousse at Norway and we will definately be trying that!

We leave in threee weeks and really need this vacation!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Dissers Rock!

My DH is also diabetic. The last time we went to WDW we experimented with not calling ahead and requesting a sugar free dessert but instead just requesting one when we arrived at the restaurant.

With the exception of a lovely orange chiffon type thing at Le Cellier, the dessert was invariably a no sugar added cheesecake, usually dressed up with some berries and maybe a little whipped cream. DH was plenty happy with it, but if variety is important to you it may be best to call ahead.

The no sugar added brownies at some CS locations (Cosmic Rays and Electric Umbrella for sure, there may be more) are quite tasty, but are made with malitol which can cause severe stomach upset if you eat too much of it. The same goes for the sugar free candies at the candy shops in MK and DTD and the candy bars sold in all of the gift shops. DH has found that about 1/2 a brownie at a sitting is enjoyable without upsetting his stomach.

Each of the ice cream stands have a nsa strawberry bar (still has plenty of fruit sugars, though, so be careful) and there is nsa ice cream almost everywhere ice cream is sold on property.

The mousse at the Norway pavillion is definitely DH's favorite--certainly worth a stop!

Also check out the reviews at www.ourlaughingplace.com they get alot of SF desserts. Sometimes calling ahead helps.
