No Star Wars Fireworks over Thanksgiving?

I was kind of planning our big thing on Thanksgiving to be the Star Wars Dessert Party - my kids and husband love Star Wars and I thought it would be a great choice. I now see that last year there was some kind of Christmas show at HS that time of year and it looks like it replaced the Star Wars show - are there plans/rumors for that to happen again? I planned out all of our parks/ADRs earlier around us being at HS on Thanksgiving for this - will be super bummed if it was all in error and I have to rework it all. Ugh!

It is still far too early for accurate listings of hours and events.
Disney's early calendars are always updated as the actual dates get closer.

Yes I know that but what I am asking is if in fact last year there was no Star Wars fireworks because of this holiday show and if there is any information/rumors that the holiday show is returning. I cannot exactly wait until a few weeks out to make ADRs for Thanksgiving.

No word yet if Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be back.

With Star Wars Ep. 8 coming out, I don't have how to handicap which show will be there. I would book backup ADR's for two days you can flip. You should know long before FP+ time what will happen.

Disney doesn't appear to care about that.
Sorry.

Thank you - I was not thinking about the new movie. That could complicate it. I just wish they would announce something sooner rather than later - it is not like they don't know people are planning.

Sorry.

Thank you for being unhelpful. Perhaps you could draw something more unhelpful in a map.....:rolleyes2

When they replaced SW show with Jingle Bam last year it was a huge disapointment to me and my family. We'd never seen any of the SW nightime shows, and that's the only time of year we can go to Disney. Jingle Bam was not good, IMO, but I may be in the minority. That the new SW movie is coming out then likely will not matter--last December, Rogue One came out and it didn't seem to have an impact on pulling the SW nighttime show.

I don't think that was an intent be be flip. WDW management has created an impossible situation of forcing people to schedule out meals 6 months in advance (and rides 6 weeks), complicated by peak crowds and holidays seasons in your case. Many people have noted this very hassle. I think it truly is unrealistic to expect WDW to schedule everything a half-year in advance, yet some how WDW doesn't find it unrealistic to make us do the same.
