Hi Everyone
I am going for a week in May to our Timeshare exchange (23rd to 30th), but wanted to stay for a weekend at the end of our trip. So I called about staying Saturday night, May 30th, and was told there are no single nights available at any of the onsite resorts?? But could stay Sat & Sun, that was available. Don't remember the rates, as I was planning on flying home Sunday night. She said I could call back and keep trying. I think she said they have a block of rooms for single nights, and they were all taken. I've never stayed for just one night, so this is all new to me. If I stay for the last weekend, I want it to be onsite for the FOTL.

Any advice, or experiences you guys can share!
Thanks
Mike

sometimes you have to pick up the night before in order to get the saturday over night stay.

two years ago when i was doing universal in october, i booked very early in january.

i could not get a fri- sat stay so i booked starting for thursday and got my ressie.

the hotels don't do many saturday night only ressies.
the only time they usually do that is if it is near the date and they have open rooms for that night.

call and see if you can do a friday/saturday stay.

then call back a week later and see if you can drop the friday off the ressie.

i did know one homie in a situation like yours before.

they wanted a saturday night only but did the ressie with another day in front of it.

a couple of weeks prior to their arrival date, they called and dropped the night before off their ressie.

no issue for them.

not saying this will work for you, but it has been done in one situation that i am aware of.

good luck!
