What other non-Disney podcasts do you like to listen to and would recommend? (please keep it non-Disney)

My favorite musical podcast is Coverville at coverville.com

It's a show that plays musical covers, all kinds and different types from Punk to Sesame Street (which is this weeks show). Some of the songs rock, and others are not so good. There are currently over 600 shows, so there's tons of music out there.

I'm a fan of the Onion Video Podcast. I also listen to the Veritas Forum Podcast, The RELEVANT podcast (by far my favorite), and LOSTcasts.

Most of mine are travel related.

This week in travel
Travel with Rick Steves
Amateur Traveler
Betty in the sky with a suitcase
Fly with me. He has not had a new podcast for a while. He is getting ready to start up again though.

This is not a travel podcast. Adam Carolla. If you are easily offended or hate cursing DO NOT LISTEN!

I like
Amateur Traveler
APM- American Rdio Works
Being Healthy for Busy People
Betty in the Sky with a Suitcase
Rose and Trout

If you like Amateur Traveler then try This week in Travel. Chris is on that podcast too.

I looove NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.

That and the DIS are the 2 I listen to religiously.

I recently started listening to Car Talk on NPR-not that I have any interest in cars but the guys are funny.

Those are the only 3 I listen to, I'd love to get more ideas. I am not a fan of any of the other Disney ones, so I'll be looking here to see what non-Disney podcasts people like. I want funny stuff!

I am listening to Archive shows. I have just downloaded the July 2008 Christmas in July series as a prep for my first December Trip next month for DAP.

the Muppetcast by Steve Swanson

Coasterradio.com

the Forcecast

Big Foamy Head

I listen to a lot of podcasts at work all day. Besides the DIS, I listen to:

WDW Radio Show
WDW Today
All About the Mouse
Stuff You Should Know
Stuff You Missed in History Class
Stuff Mom Never Told You
Watch It Television Podcast
That's What She Said (Office podcast)
NPR Wait, Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me
This American Life
S-Words Podcast
Mugglecast (Harry Potter podcast)

And I'm always looking for more suggestions! :thumbsup2

My favorites (but not really appropriate for young ears)
- Answer me this podcast
- Friday Night Comedy from BBC Radio Four

I dip in and out of others.

- Any NPR Podcast. Why is All things considered not in podcast form?
- Adam Carolla Podcast
- Adam Carolla Carcast

I listen to

EscapePod - Science fiction short stories
PodCastle - Fantasy short stories
Vinyl Cafe

as well as a number of software development podcasts.

I faithfully listen to Car Talk & the Slate Political Gabfest.
I don't find a ton of time to listen to podcasts, so those are the regulars. I downloaded one Muppetcast and Pottercast to see how I like them.

If you are a nerd like myself you would love the TWIT network. It is a network of technology related podcasts owned/operated by Leo Laporte. He was one of the main personalities on TechTV before it became G4. I think that there are about 14 or 15 podcasts that they produce on many different tech topics. They are not just boring talk about tech, it's usually a panel of people that are funny talking about the topics.

twit.tv This is the website.

Love Leo Laporte!
I used to watch him on TechTV.

I listen to some of his tech podcasts.

But I really like Munchcast he does with Cammie Blackstone. It's about food! :thumbsup2

I listen to The Free Culinary School podcast, its all about food. Mostly about techniques and is a "how to" type podcast. Lots of info, the most recent show is about "How to make Sourdough bread".:)

I've been spending a LOT of time lately just bombing out listening to DIS Radio. It's definately getting me into the mood for my upcoming first trip to DLR in 23 short days.

I love the inclusion of Off-Kilter as they are my favorite musical performers on property & i'd love to hear more from them as well as The British Invasion if possible.

I listen to those too and since you like Stuff You Should Know, may I suggest WNYC'S Radio Lab. That is almost my favorite podcast. I only wish it came on more often. Their topics are usually science/biology related but even if you don't normally go in for that subject, the way they present the stories is amazing!

I also listen to Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Wrtiting as well as the New Yorker fiction podcast and PRI Selected Shorts.

Me, too!

Also Modern Manners Guy and The Ethist
Both nice and short.
