I have been calling for 2 weeks trying to get reservations at Ohana for our trip TOMORROW until next Wednesday. Finally I got reservations :cool1: for tomorrow night at 9:15 :scared1: for a party of 6 :scared1:

here's the issues:
1- we are a party of 5, not 6, what will happen when we show up with 6?
2- we do not want to eat that late, so what happens if we show up early?
3- what happens if we don't show, do we get charged?

regarding 2, what if we show up 30 minutes early? or say 2 hours? does it matter, will our chances be better if it's 30 minutes?

Please help! I am new to dinning at disney and ADR!

also, they bring the food to your table right? Is it really all you can eat, can you request more of something you like?

Thanks!!

I think you may have mistyped the # of people in your party ...or I'm reading it wrong. Do you mean your reservation is for 5 but there are 6 in your party?

If so then I would like ti wouldn't be too much of an issue. If you were going from 4 to 5 maybe cause it's harder to squeeze another in at a table for 4.

You can certainly show up early for your res and take a chance but you may end up sitting in the lounge for quite a while. It's worth a try if you don't mind a wait and don't have young kids who will get impatient. We've shown up early and it's worked out. I would suggest you not show up at the height of dinnertime though (6-7ish). Try early, when they first open (not sure what tiem that is).

O'Hana doesn't have a no show fee.

1. When you check in, let them know that one person was not able to make it.
2. Try calling again in the morning to see if you can change the ADR time. Check at any Guest Relations during the day to see if they can change it to an earlier time. If you show up 2 hours early, it's possible you could get a table then but more likely that they'll tell you it won't be available until closer to your ADR time. It's always recommended to show up at least 15 minutes prior to your ADR time.
3. There's no fee for a no-show at O'hanas (only the restaurants that have a CC guarantee) If you decide that you aren't going to go, the "polite/right" thing to do would be to stop at any Guest Relations to cancel the ADR. Someone else may really be happy to get in, even if it's at 9:15pm.

Yes, it is all you can eat. If you really like something, just ask them to bring more of it out :goodvibes

Have a great trip!

Just make sure you leave room for the Banana Bread Pudding dessert!!

We have 5 people in our party but the CM on the phone said that the only thing available was for a party of 6, so we had to have 6 people. But we really only have 5 people, does that make sense? sorry for the confusion! Thanks for the help :)

I have showed up for a ressie that I made for 8 people with only 7 people cuz one got sick. Wasn't a problem.

Have so much fun! One less person should be fine; that's happened to me several times before.
