I am thinking of making my son an I-Spy Bag for our flight to Orlando. Has anyone had any luck making a no sew version? I am sort of clueless when it comes to sewing machines, though it is something I want to learn someday.

I have made some i - spy bags for my boys and their friends for birthday gifts -- they are always a big hit -- but it does take some very easy straight stitch sewing -- the only other thing i can think of that does not require sewing is doing a i spy water bottle --- get a water bottle - some rice or the little pellet plastic bead things (technical term :rotfl2:) fill with your little spy objects and hot glue the cap on if you are worried about him trying to open it --- we made these with the cub scouts and the clients with special needs at work -- very easy, portable and fun.

hope this helps

I was going to mention the bottle as well- you can also fill it with colored salt or sand (powdered tempra paints work well for coloring either).
