I just checked and saw the kids were out for the rest of the week. They were supposed to go until Wednesday, so we are all excited to get a few extra vacation days!

I am hoping they get to be out the rest of the week too..they only had 3 days this week anyway. We got about 22 inches down here at the Jersey Shore. I'm happy when my kids are home too

Got the call too and so dissapointed since DD's dance class is also cancelled since school was cancelled, and it was their little holiday party. I bought bags for all the girls, had my cookies ready to go. I can bring her Tuesday instead for the makeup they emailed. Too bad I work on Tuesdays

My DD7 is off today in Baltimore county, also city schools are off- my mom works there- so she is watching DD. They were supposed to go Mon- Wed this week. I wish they would call off for the rest of their time. I have to work regardless up through xmas eve.

My kids got a snow day too here in Harford County. Wonder if they'll go back tomorrow. Our development never did get plowed but DH had no trouble getting out. Usually school buses won't come until they plow - maybe it will be today. My poor mailbox is buried in snow. I'll have to dig it out today or I won't get mail.

We also got the same call this morning at 6am, so much for sleeping in
