Now summer will start another day later
They'll hopefully be out the wk before July 4th

You got a lot of snow in your area?

We got enough to cover everything but not enough for a snow day. DS will be disappointed when he wakes up to find out he has school. Oh well.

our district never did any snow days.. just two hour delays. We had two of those delays and that was it.

Just enough snow here to give us a 90 min delay. Just enought time to get on the boards this morning. I was haveing withdrawl after yesterday.:earseek:

My kids are long since out of school but our town is having a snow day. Probably because it's so big and they couldn't get all the streets plowed.

Yeah, I heard about Friday!

I'm in a little town in SE Mass. EVERY surrounding town is in a 2hr delay but us! I am watching the bostonchannel.com very closely so we don't end up waiting on the bus, and have them end up going into delay. I may just drive DS and the neighbor kids anyway since I have AWD and the roads are still a bit iffy. We'll see.

We have a one hour delay here that wasn't posted until 45 minutes before the most buses arrive to pick up the secondary school kids. NewHoliday-when is your last day of school? Right now we get out on the 23rd of June. I'm hoping that we are done with snow days for the year ( of course I've probably jinxed myself now:rolleyes: )

We have school. We got up to 14 inches in some places. The city of Buffalo closed schools, but all the surrounding burbs are open as usual. The city always closes because they can't get the side streets plowed to get busses down them.

2 hour delay and 6 more inches on friday!

Wait a minute, I just heard on the news that there would be no accumulations on Friday, just some flurries in the am thru afternoon   . Oh I hope there's no accumulation, I can't stand snow anymore!

We had the 2 hour delay, so far we've only cancelled twice this year so we will be getting out on June 11!

My kids have a 90 minute delay. Boy did they forecast this one wrong...again! Not that I'm disappointed or anything, but how can they blow it so far out of proportion. We got about 2 or 3 inches. That's a pretty far cry from 14 inches.

Thats what I heard too, or pretty similar....Friday will be a weaker storm and mostly south. Im hoping that is right too!

I have to say Im glad today was a snow day because we have had so much going on lately I could use it, LOL, but as of now the kids will be going to school until June 23. Between snow days, a cold day , and a truck rollover day we might as well just go year round.

Well you guys can just keep your smooches to yourselves down there. ;)

Debbie, I feel your pain! I have been working my butt off for a school fundraising event Friday night. If this thing has to get canceled I will absolutely lose my mind. :crazy2:

We have a snow day here. Most likely because the kids only had a half-day anyhow.

DS9 will be catching up onhis homework (he "forgot" his book yesterday so we went back to the school to get it), we'll get out in the snow a bit, and then cupcake making and monopoly!

We had a 90 minute delay, just as we were leaving for the bus, I got a phone call, they closed school.

I was so looking forward to the kids leaving for the day. My dd turned around put back on her pj's and went back to bed. :p
