No Rooms in WDW October 25-27

Can you believe that! I have to go to a conference so of course I am trying to stop by WDW for two days....

Not one single room is available in all of the WDW inventory including DVC!

I'll have to book a room off property, but no worries! I'll still get my WDW fix.

Oooohh! That worries me a bit. I was lucky enough to get a room for that same weekend, but didn't realize that the parks would be full!!! What's going on that would make them so busy?

Using the online booking system, I just got Pop to come up for the two nights (Oct 25 & 26).

The Halloween festivities must be the reason for the sold out resort.

Does the Central ressie center have different inventory than the online ressie system? Is this how it normally works?

Correct -- there is different inventory allowances -- on-line, calling in room only (CRO), WDTC packages, AAA, travel agents, etc.

That's strange because I just booked the other day for POP and had no problem getting Oct 24-29 and also AAA discount and when I inquired about possibly adjusting my dates slightly I was told no problem because there was plenty of availability.

This is good to know! I was getting a little worried that October is going to be more crowded then June!!! We wanted to avoid the crowds, that is why we chose our fall break instead of right at beginnning of summer! Hopefully Disney won't be swamped this week!!! We are going October 22-28th.
