I was thinking of taking our son to Orlando for his birthday weekend at the end of June Apparently I have just a few choices.
AoA suite, Corando ( non tower) and movies. We really wanted pop or CBR. I know we do not want a 500 room... and I do not want to stay in the Casitas again without a car.
Do you think more rooms will show up... they really sold out Pop?

Keep checking - hotel availability tends to change as the days go by. You may get lucky and have one of the ones yo’ure wanting pop up with available rooms.

Would you consider Swan/Dolphin? That's going to be ~$250-325 a night after resort fee. Walk to Epcot / HS?? Good food, comfy beds! (No, I don't work for them.)

Also, I am traveling that last week of June and early July. I've been looking at tweaking my reservations slightly so I've been watching inventory. The real problem date for you might be Wed June 30. If you are staying on that night I've seen everything but AoA sell out, but avail at several Dis properties in a range of prices the days before, and the days after. (Although they're really starting to dwindle!) At one point the Swan & Dolphin was entirely sold out that night (they're not now.

If you can tolerate S&D (it's a really nice resort - just don't look directly at it from the outside!!) and can get a decent price on it (PL, HW, direct w/ AAA or something) maybe book it at a cancellable rate and meanwhile check Disney properties a few days before the 30 day window. Cancellations due to risking losing deposit should help you out, I bet.

Would you consider not booking through Disney? Sometimes I find availability on sites like Trivago, Expedia/Orbitz, or UT. You can also try Priceline and Hotwire. There is an excellent thread on this board that can help you identify hidden deals as Disney hotels with a high degree of confidence.

It is more likely your narrow window of a "Weekend". Try shifting your dates one day earlier or 1 day later or adding a day or even splitting days and as previous members have commented above may sure you don't have "special" offers for your initial searches and then narrow down to Special Rates using this great link:

In Disney reservation terms the Disney week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday and the automated system is designed to not cause orphan rooms as much as possible.

I think that's what it is, I live in Florida so it uses the discount rate when I search... thank you all
I too live in Florida, if you look at other available offers when you click on the resort it has an option for room price. I was finding nothing for our AP and Florida residents.
