no rooms available at POR?

Just been on the disney website and trying to look at rough prices for the POR ( 5 people) on one of the flight inclusive packages on dates with free dining and tried loads dates and all said no room available

do you think they are fully booked up already or some sort of web glitch ??

i also saw some flights on thompson for last min that came to only £1600 for all 6 of us so im just trying to work out whether to keep saving until the month we want to go and then just book all last minuite but not sure wether loosing out on the free dining will eat in to everything we save????

is it possible when booking only 2 week out to make such good savings that you can budget in paying for the dining plan /paying for all food and still have made a saving or does it always end up balancing out to the same amount ??

POR will not let you book a room for 6 people which is why it is not coming up on the site for you. Even although your 6th person is a baby, they are working on the number of person in the room not exceeding 4 adults and a child as the 5th bed is a trundle bed and not full sized.

I can't help on last minute bookings as I always book well in advance, but a few folk on here have recently snagged some last minute deals a couple of weeks out and they would be better able to advise you on this.

I used to feel that the dining plan was worth paying for but with the price increases over the years I am not convinced it is still the way to go if paid for. I think, unless you have a list of TS places you want to eat at that works out to at least one per day of your trip, you are going to be better off just doing the ones you really want, winging it where you feel appropriate and paying out of pocket for your food.

Give Disney UK a call, see what they say for your dates

Last minute can be great, as long as you're prepared to not be fussy about the accommodation, as there's no guarantee there would be vacancies closer to the time.

oops lol no we will still be 5 !! in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 !!

no wonder i find it so hard to book anything when i cant even count how many children i have!

is it possible they don't permit booking free dining for 5 people in a POR room?
maybe that's why nothing is coming up for you?..

also are you sure that POR holds 5 people?

O wait...... you said flight inclusive...... flights won't be released until about september for next august which would be why, Disney used to allow you to book flights further out but because of price and schedule changes they've stopped doing it.

Before we booked Yacht Club, it was a toss up between POR to save us loads of money and OKW for the space - there would be 5 of us in our group (two adults and a 15 year old, 12 year old and 9 year old).

We were advised by Disney that there was a limited availability of trundle bed rooms within POR, all within the Alligator Bayou room's. However, they did say this was a relatively small number of rooms.

I would definitely 100% recommend calling them if it's not allowing you to book. It wouldn't be a free dining issue as we were given a quote with that included for the five of us!

oops did i say i wanted to go august ?? thats not right either we are looking for either feb/march or sept , i knew i couldnt price flight inclusive for the sept dates but did have a good price room, tix and dining for our sept date

february seems to be a school holiday where the price doesnt jump up too much
