looking to price 4 nights in early Dec 2022 at Poly and the only room available is a lagoon view, club level. Is it really possible that all standard rooms are completely booked up already or is there something going on, like a computer glitch?

I've been checking Poly availability for anytime in first half of 2022 and haven't been able to find anything. I've been checking every few days for a couple of months now.

We have a booking for November 2022 but had been thinking of bringing the trip forward. I did wonder at first if it was a glitch but starting to think it really is just fully booked.

Poly was always popular even pre-COVID, but availability has been particularly low/extremely limited since the hotel side reopened July 2021. Whether it's the seemingly very popular room renovations, continued placeholder travel for the future/rolling over of cancelled trips, or Disney's booking algorithms, who really knows. I could say the same about many Disney resorts, but Poly seems to be among the most commonly mentioned as having very poor availability compared to past norms.

That said, keep checking - people are changing plans all of the time. If you have the flexibility, it can also help to tinker with your check-in date and number of nights just to see.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Incredible, really…11 months out and the only room available is $1200+ per night

thank you…I will keep checking. I will also look at renting DVC points although I suspect finding a studio on points will be next to impossible too.

I was able to rent points for a standard studio for August within the 7 month window. It appears to me August, Sept, Oct and Nov have Poly DVC availability. I've found December, especially the beginning, is the bad time to try and rent points.

Just for a point of reference, I booked my upcoming April 2022 Poly stay in March 2021 (i think it is when they released the 2022 packages), at the time I thought I was bonkers but when I went to check something a few months later for the week I booked, the Poly was completely sold out.

The hotel side was closed for quite a while, I have to imagine many were in our position with trips needing to be postponed due to COVID/logistical concerns or were otherwise unwilling to stay there with the construction. Lots of pent up demand and a super popular refurb seems to equal slim pickings.

It’s one of the many reasons we locked down our room as soon as we figured out our dates this year. Our TA even said she can’t book Poly fast enough, those rooms are going super fast.
