Darn it. I was checking out the Ridemax site and I can't use it on my Mac! :headache:

Yep, it makes it hard for those of us with "real" computers. ;)

I ended up buying it and then downloading it at a friend's house (PC user) and ran all my itineraries from there. Not super convenient, but it did the job.

FWIW :goodvibes

"Hawleys" used RideMax on his MacBook, but it required buying software called VMware (Virtual Machine), which costs ~$80. He used VMware and Windows 7 ('release candidate' version).

He wrote about it at the following link:

... my experiment with running Ridemax with Windows 7 on a MacBook using VMware was successful. I used the Windows 7 release candidate (not Windows 7 Beta) and so far I have not encountered any problems. Feel free to PM if you want more information on how to do this.

Oh DM, perhaps you can understand what a mental hardship it's been with hubby working for m'soft the last two months....:upsidedow But the jokes I get to throw at him are TOO fun!

I did this too...it was actually kind of good, because I would have spent literally days playing with the itineraries if it had worked on my own computer. Since it was on someone else's, I had to make my decisions and then live with them. :)

It was really easy to install VMware and useful for when you have applications that only run on PCs. I have a couple that I need for work so they covered the cost of VMware which was a nice bonus. PM if you want more info. :)
