This is a last minute trip for March which I know is spring break. Will they open up anymore reservations for any value resorts? Will there be any spring discounts?

Disney has been playing with availability essentially making it appear as though more rooms are occupied when in reality they aren't.
Just check a few times per day and its likely something will pop up as available.
I had to do that for my last trip when I wanted a value resort.
After I was able to book I then continued to look for fun daily just to see how things would disappear and reappear daily.
Never say never but its not looking likely there will be much in the way of discounts although I'd say if there's going to be its likely to drop in the next week or two.

It appears that availability sometimes depends upon the # of guests. So...if one plugs in '1' Guest and shows no availability, plugging in'2' guests may change the result.
Also...fluctuating the # of days can certainly alter availability and price.

Just a thought… Have you tried looking at sites like Priceline? Sometimes you can find availability that way.

Keep looking as you get closer. I've found a lot more availability about 1-2 months out as people cancel or change their plans.

No, I am too nervous to use those sites.... ive heard lots of horror stories!
We did Pop that way a few years back and got a great deal. But that was before times. I think you couldn’t cancel. But we saved a lot!

Right, I hear the cancelation thing a lot. Then stories about showing up and not having a room or having another issue where the hotel doesnt/cant help because you went through a third party

We needed to add a single day on to our trip on the front end for our flight and NOTHING was available under $600 a night except 1 night at AoA. Then we needed to add a few days on at the tail end, again, for the flight, and it was slim pickings. Thankfully, our DVC connection got us a few nights at BLT and we're waitlisted for a 3rd. Otherwise, PO-FQ for a single night at the end. March is gonna be BUSY!
