No Reservations Available.. Worth Trying To Walk In?

DFi and I are going to WDW 11/11/11-11/13/11 banana. We just booked our trip yesterday and of course have limited dining options since our depature date is so soon.

We are only going to EPCOT (11/12/11) and really wanted to eat at the Garden Grill. There are no dining reservations available. Is it worth trying to walk in? If so, is it best to go as soon as the restaurant opens? Or should I try guest services? The concierge at the resort?

I would go as soon as they open which I think is 4 or 4:30.

I'm here right now and they were taking walk ups for Tusker breakfast yesterday and there had been nothing available when trying to get an ADR. I think it's worth a try.

The key will be to go at opening.

Absolutely, give it a try. The worst they can do is turn you away, and then you may still have luck somewhere else. DH and I were once told over the phone that nothing was available at California Grill. We showed up anyway and they took our name, but it sounded doubtful that we would be seated for quite some time. We went into the lounge area, ordered drinks, and before they even had time to get our drinks to us, we were called and were being seated. Never hurts to ask.

I would also give the concierge desk a shot the day before you want to eat. Then, if they can't get you in, do as the PPs have said and go to the restaurant at opening.

I'll jump in and say that last week when we were at 'Ohana - there were no ADR's listed for any time during our stay but while I was checking in, they had a separate line for people without ADR's and they were taking their names and seating them. Most were parties of 2 - 4.

We've successfully walked into the Mexican restaurant, inside, at Epcot, 9 Dragons and had a short wait at the BC Clambake. You've got nothing to lose.
