No reservations available at Garden Grill

There are no reservations available at the Garden Grill the first week in December. Anyone know if they are remodeling?? We have never experienced the "Grill " being that busy.

People have been reporting the lack of availabilty at many of the Epcot restaurants for December. The assumption is they are being held back for Candlelight Processional dining packages.

I have been trying to get reservations for the last week of September for a while now with no luck.

GG was hard for me at first for last week in August. Then a few weeks after my 180 day mark there were many more openings. Not sure why but maybe more will show up? They load slowly or something? Good luck!

I'm convinced it's either a glitch in the system or it is being held back for some reason because I've been trying for October ADR's since my 180 mark with no luck.

Same thing here for the October/November dates we've been trying to book in case we get to go. When I called the CM said they were open, but ALL of the tables had been booked. This was back at the beginning of May.

There seems to be an issue in general for breakfast online, but it is there when you phone in.

I have not been able to pull breakfast for most of my vacation but could get it with no problem when I called WDW-DINE.

The tables at GG Rose and Crown and Norway are being held for Candlelight processional resies. They will be released in August if not sold out. It's a shame WDW can't let people book like they used to but they have found a way to squeeze another nickel out of us. It actually was more fair when everyone had to book day by day. All had an equal chance. Just my opinion.

The thing is though, unless things have changed since '07 (which was unfortunately the last time I've been able to go), there's only a one hour time frame that you're able to book CP reservations for for each CP show. What I mean is that for the 5:00 show, your ADR would be between 1:45 and 2:45; for the 6:45 show, between 3:30 and 4:30; and for the 8:15 show, between 5:00 and 6:00. If that's still the case, there should still be plenty of availability at the CP restaurants. Of course, some restaurants are always hard to get, like Le Cellier. Maybe Garden Grill is hard to get because it's a character meal.

Same story with Dec 6-12. Wasnt expecting that at all! Could not get one day open for it. And i was online at the exact min our 180 mark hit

Its def because of the cp packages. I have been trying for lunch at either rose and crown or coral reef and nothing.

I think I am going to def. check online or call in the day of the packages being released to see if there is anything when I book my own cp dinner package but hopefully some lunches will open up.

Also keep in mind that Garden Grill is Tier 1 on the cp package, so it could get pretty booked up as one of the least expensive dining options for cp packages.

This is what happened to me last December. They were held for the Candlelight Processional. I finally got a reservation a couple of months before for 8pm. When I checked in there was a 1 hour wait.!

Not sure if it's CP related or not.

CP starts Nov 25 and I was able to get ADRs just last week for Nov 29 at Garden Grill with no problem...even had multiple times to choose between.

Hope you are able to get one when it opens up!!

For whatever reason I had the same problem for September it was only available for booking times after 6pm. So I tried again a month later and there was finally some 4 pm reservations.

This thread makes me realize that I had some super special Pixie Dust to get Garden Grill at 4pm on Thanksgiving. It is my friend's 40th birthday and her daughters birthday. She really wanted to eat at Garden Grill when I told her how we can do a boat ride through Land of Living and see how they grow the veggies then use them at the restaurant.

I went on-line at 180 days and wanted 4pm so that we could open the restaurant and there it was so I booked it for the 6 of us. Now I know how fortunate I am to not have to stress or keep trying for that reservatation.

I hope that everyone else has some special Pixie Dust and is able to get into Garden Grill too.
