No rehire appeal

I have a question for anyone that may know what to do. I was recently hired for a seasonal position at a DisneyStore. I went to a training meeting but quickly learned the hours I would be working would interfere with my school. Because of this I had to quit. I thought I was being nice and telling them in advance of the holidays rather than wasting their time and quitting right in the midst of the holiday rush but they got mad and said I could never be rehired. is there a way I can appeal that for the future? I can't believe I can NEVER be hired again because I put my education before work.
If anyone knows how I can appeal or if that's possible I could much appreciate the help.

I would check with HR and see if you are really in that type of status. They may have been throwing a bit of a hissy fit without the authority to back that up.

And even if you were in a no hire status, I would think a clear explanation of what occurs could easily clear that up.

I wouldn't worry about it until you were actually looking for work again.
