No rehersal for Escape Brides

I understand that Escape brides have no rehersal. How do you know what to do/where to go? Does the wedding planner escort the groom and guests to the exact location (eg Seabreeze point) and then go back to the Boardwalk entrance and escort the bridal party to the correct spot. Any information from previous Escape brides would be helpful!!

Another question - I know Disney provide the cake knife and servers for use on the day, but do you provide your own ribbons for them? Will they allow you to provide your own paper napkins for the cake reception in your chosen colour.

I am sorry for all the questions but I am a way out from being allowed to book yet so haven't yet got a planner to direct them to

I'll try to help...

Yes, your planner will move everyone to their correct positions before your wedding. He or she will tell everyone what they are supposed to do and just generally be around to guide everyone. While you get one "official" planning session by phone weeks before your wedding, we talked to our coordinator a few times the day before and the morning of our wedding. So it's not like you are left on your own. Let your coordinator know if you want to see each other before or not and all that stuff and she will guide you all. Remember, they are professionals and have done thousands of weddings...and you probably know quite a bit more about weddings than you realize too!

If you want special decorations/ribbons/napkins for your cake reception I'm sure Disney can provide them, at a cost (they will provide what you need just maybe not exactly what you want). Also remember that you don't keep the cake knife and server...if you want to use special ones, let your coordinator know. If you want I'm sure one of your guests can put your selected color napkins, etc on your table just before your ceremony.
