No receipts? No problem!

For some reason, I had not been keeping receipts from our QS DDP this trip. Early on, my 11yo purchased three snacks at our resort, intending to use one meal credit. The next day, we tried our first Dole whip at MK (oh yes, it's a new must-do) and I noticed we were down three snacks more than I expected. I realized it must have happened when DD got her snacks the night before.

We were disappointed, because we wanted to use snack credits at the parks, and a few meal credits for snacks at the resorts (unhealthy and wasteful, I know, but we're not always up for the full meal). But with no receipts, I thought we'd have to live with it.

I decided to try our resort front desk anyway. Sure enough, the CM could locate on the computer the exact three snacks my daughter had bought--and then converted them back into a meal. We were all set. She was so nice about it, too!

Just wanted to share an example of Disney fixing my mistake quickly and painlessly.

I've been doing it our whole trip, but only at our resort. And now I make sure I tell the CM before he or she rings up the food. It's so convenient!

Sorry - - I only did this type of swap at our resort. I ate at Sommerfest, though, and asked for bratwurst, a side of potato salad, and apple strudel. The CM offered a free cup of water (she saw I was having trouble deciding between a bottle of water and the potato salad), and I was all set, one QS meal credit. Other than that, I didn't test exchanges at all. And now our trip is almost over, we're leaving in the morning. Maybe next time!
