No reason not to have a ticket for each day

If my math is correct, an advance 6 day magic your way pass that has the park hopper option and the magic plus option is 267.00. The same ticket for 7 days is 268.00. I think i will pay the extra dollar and see illuminations the first night we are there. We usually do not waste a ticket our first day, but I think I would be crazy not to now.

We never spend our first or our last day in the parks because they are generally only small parts of the day. We also never eat a sit down meal in the parks because we don't want to waste valuable park time. This time we are going to get a 7 day MYW hopper. We will probably do dinner and a night time show our first evening and a character breakfast our last morning. Disney was pretty smart pricing things that way. It gets you in the park to spend money. Otherwise you may not spend a dime on property those 2 days.

We did the same thing. We were only planning on parks for 5 days but for 'pennies' more we got the 6 day hopper ticket and will walk over to Epcot from BCV's for dinner and Illuminations our first night!

Yep...that's our plan, too! Definately worth an extra $2 for the ability to go to the parks every day of our trip (normally we do 5 park days out of 7), especially since it'll be DS's first trip and there's no way of knowing how he'll be.
