No REAL ID? That'll be $18.

Prepare to shell out $18 if you don't have REAL ID compliant IDs... the TSA is proposing potential extra fees. Don't get comfortable after paying up... you'll only be able to use the TSA checkpoints 10 days after you pay up. This will have huge implications to guests whose Disney visits are 10 days and longer.

Not sure how much of an impact this will have. I would think that most folks have a Real ID by now. I'm on my second one as I got my first one more than 5 years ago. Or they have a Passport.

Or maybe travelers should just get a Real ID. It’s not like they had 20 years notice they needed it or anything.

Unfortunately there are technophobes out there who may be reluctant to use REAL ID, mostly due to privacy invasion concerns…

Times have changed. Other than proof of address, everything you need for a REAL ID no no different than what I needed in 1973 when I got my first Driver's License. And other than Social Security number, everything is already public record.
