No PS for Ice Cream Social

Just found out we are going to be at Disney 4/27 & 4/28 and I was told "There is no priority seating available" for the Ice Cream Social at the Garden Grill. I find this hard to believe since every time we have done the Ice Cream Social, we were one of only 3 or 4 families in the entire restaurant. And that is supposed to be a slow time- they even cut back the hours at MK and have no fireworks scheduled. Any ideas? I have a grandma coming along who was REALLY looking forward to the Ice Cream Social. I have called twice and gotten the same respose "no availability". Has this happened to anyone else? Should I try actually showing up at the restaurant and try to get in? Is it possible the Ice Cream Social has been canceled? Thanks for your help!

It's very possible they just aren't offering it during this time period. Why not just walk over to the BC and go to Beaches and Cream for an afternoon break. Much better than the social IMHO.

I just made PS for the Ice Cream Social (we're going in June, and was told by the CM that it goes on every day, but only during a very specific time. I think he said from 2:50 until 3 PM. Hope that helps.

I made a PS for July 11th and was given the choice of 2:50, 3:00 or 3:10 p.m.

I actually have a PS for the ice cream social on 4/27, so I sure hope they're having it! I made it at least a month ago, and maybe longer, so maybe they are just full. I'd show up anyway...I plan to keep my PS, but you never know if others will be no-shows.
