No preferred rooms at POR!

Of course free dining is more important to me than a preferred room but I'm a little bummed that the preferred rooms aren't included...anyway, if anyone hears different, can you please let me know???

We had the same problem when we booked the Spring offer discount. They absolutely refuse to guarantee that we can get a room near the main building. I am worried enough about my Mom being able to get around that we are cancelling and booking offsite.

ETA: IF free dining goes to the general public on Monday, you should call again because more rooms may open up under that offer. Good luck!

I called again today to be told water view only. We are at CBR now but we really want POR. I will keep trying.

We had the same problem, booked for 9/17 to 9/23, and no preferred. They show availability on the site, but I guess they are not opening those to the free dining. I called around 7:45 a.m., so I find it hard to believe they were sold out. More likely, they weren't offerered for free dining. Considering that they usually try to upsell you, I was surprised as well. The CM told me to keep checking every week to see if something opens up.

instead of cancelling have you called special reservations? if your mom requires a room near the main building due to medical issues they might be able to help you in your situation.
