"No-park" days at WDW

Mini golf at WinterSummerland! We did that last trip and the kids LOVED it. 20+ Disney trips and we finally tried it. It was so fun, laid back, still had all the Disney magic.

Splitsville. Good food, super fun bowling. Not really that expensive if you read up on their deals. Sunday morning was really well-priced and we were there for lunch.

Disney Springs. It will be so nice when it is done, but there is still plenty to do/see right now. I love the shops on the refurbished side. The tea shop, hat shop, Boathouse, etc.

Our favorite trips have always been our extra long ones! Have fun!

Catch one of Yeehaw Bob's shows at POR. He's not there every night, so you'd need to check ahead of time.

Go to the town of Celebration. We love to eat, shop and just walk the streets looking at the amazing homes!

My idea for "off" days revolve around...food! Go to different resorts and try food at their food courts that you can only get there. POFQ...try the gumbo and beignets! AKL...try the African inspired Breakfast Platter! Pop Century...try the tie-dye cheesecake!
I see you are staying at the Poly...enjoy a Dole Whip at your resort and/or one of the speciality drinks!

Happy Planning! So jealous of your 14 DAYS!

In the past, we've used non-parks days for a waterpark visit, swimming at our resort and shopping around the Epcot resort area. We have two non-park days in February after our APs expire, and we're planning to do the following:

1. Run a half marathon!
2. Breakfast at Kona
3. Swimming at resort (we're staying at Poly)
4. Boat rental (sea racers - we rented at YC once and loved them - really looking forward to renting at Poly!)
5. Drinks at Trader Sam's
6. Dinner at Jiko - usually only go there when we're staying at AKL, but with a non-park day, we have plenty of time to get there
7. Wishes from the Poly beach
8. Sleep in!
9. More swimming at resort
10. Disney Springs
11. Boathouse for lunch.

I love the idea of a dinner show, but we just did Hoop Dee Doo again earlier this year, and the Poly Luau is not offered on our non-parks days. I prefer Hoop Dee Doo, but either would be fun for someone who hasn't experienced them recently!

A late breakfast ADR at Chef Mickey's and then resort hop on the monorail. A nice leisurely dinner at a resort or Disney springs. Hang out at the Boardwalk.

Or do non Disney stuff in Orlando and the surrounding area. Go to the beach or the aquarium.

I've always wanted to visit the space center but have never been there for long enough. If I was in Orlando for 14 days I would definitely take a day trip.

We always see a movie at AMC, and eat a late breakfast and dinner and different resorts. We do some shopping at Disney springs, we have done Disney Quest in the past (not sure that's still open...) spent the day swimming in the resort pool, and just relaxing!

Downtown Disney, water parks, or there are plenty of offsite options. We enjoyed Wonder Works, and love to visit Old Town for their car cruises. There are a number of shopping options off site, and plenty of non Disney things to see / do.

shopping,eating,relaxing.... that's what I like! I was thinking of things also,my fam loves those little mouse boat rentals, eating at various venues, visiting different resorts, using different types of transport around property...

Boating
Bicycling
Horseback riding
Canoeing
Fantasia mini golf
Cirque de Soleil
Hoop Dee Doo Revue
