We have a trip planned from Saturday, 5/9/20 - Friday 5/15/20. This will be our third year in a row to go this week, and MK has always had EMH on Wednesday from 9-11 p.m. and Friday from 8-9 p.m. This year, the Wednesday EMH has been shifted to 8-9 a.m. 😥 Both Disney After Hours and Villians After Hours are being offered that week, which I am excited about, but I am sorry to see the opportunity for on-site guests to stay late in the park at no-cost. I hope this is not a permanent change.

When you set the date to May 12th, it lists times for the next 5 days, even though its outside the 180 day window. Not sure if its accurate, but the Disney site does show those hours for Wednesday May 13.

Yes, it shows that EMH is from 8-9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, which is a switch from the historic p.m. hours.

Ahh, got it. I didn’t realize the daily view calendar would go ahead like that. Good to know, thank you.

Yeah, looks like two AM EMHs that week. MK has dabbled a bit with not offering a PM EMH for brief windows this year. Eg, October (where there were none). Must be something going on or some logic to only offer two AM ones I suppose.

Perhaps it has something to do with MK offering both regular DAH and also Villains after Hours that week. I was surprised to see that on the calendar. I hope it isn't a long-term change.

I noticed that too OP.

What I can say is that based on last years hours, at least it seems MK was open until 10 pm most nights in May and 11 or midnight on a couple Saturdays. :)

The after hours events are on the books from Feb through July twice a week, almost 5 months worth of dates. I think they are a long term change.

There is a regular DAH and a Villains AH the week in Feb I am going, but there is also PM EMH at MK on Wednesday (It is listed as 8-10 PM). Surprising to me there is not one in May. I guess you can hope the park hours are later.

I'm disappointed there are no PM EMH at HS in Feb myself!

It's all about Disney making money! If they can charge such high prices for DAH and VAH, why on earth would they let people stay later for free?
They are probably making over a million dollars just for 2 nights a week at MK.

We were looking at a trip in March, during the week that most of Texas has spring break, and the did the same thing. No late emh at MK. We can only do late ones, not early, so one day of emh for an entire week of onsite stay was disappointing. I was hoping they would bring back evening emh at HS and AK with Pandora and TSL/SWGE open, but instead they are taking more away.

I know they have them in April when I'm planning on going next year

Exactly, they are squeezing every penny out they can. I'm on the fence about booking our next trip and I'm not sure I can justify the lack of basic hours we used to get for the price. And after reading/hearing about how the hard ticket events are almost as busy at a regular night, I'm not sure the price is worth the cost
