No one is supposed to get sick in August

I've had a sore throat, fever, headcold and earache since Sunday. I've never been sick in Aug. before
This is something like I'd get in the middle of Winter...
I've been out of commission since Sunday and I'm a little irritated with the whole thing!
I've read posts about people being sick this summer and trying to get better before they left for their trips, and I thought to myself
Who gets sick in the summer, it can't be that bad. I guess this is what I get for not having enough sympathy!

It could be allergies, even with the fever; we've had an extremely bad allergy season in MA, and you can get the fever if you get an ear or sinus infection from the post nasal drip.

I've been sick nearly all month Every time I get over one thing another thing starts up, this week was a stupid virus... I have the WORST luck!

Ok, this is freaky because I've had the exact same thing since Sunday. I woke up that morning with it and it's gotten worse and now a little better.

My 3 grandsons and I were sick a couple of weeks ago. The infant and 5 year old had a fever. Myself and the 9 year old had a sore throat and sneezing. I have never had a summer cold in my life and I don't have allergies.

I agree, no one should get sick during the summer! Tho I have been for the past week too! I also had a sore throat and have been stuffy all week!

I know how you feel. I usually get sick once during the summer. And it is usually hot and humid that week. I have not not a cold yet this summer (knock wood)

I hope you feel better soon. There definitely has been a lot of illness floating around this summer. I had pleurisy in July, and now I have bronchitis, and I'm flying to Florida tomorrow for our Disney cruise on Saturday! At least I'm on antibiotics, so I should be fine to go...but still! I agree with you, it's irritating to be sick in the summer!

I woke up sunday with a sore throat too. I get to go to the drs today at 130 hope he can give me something my head is killing me never been sick in aug and no allergies

I woke up Monday with a running nose and sore throat. I am on antibotics and Now dh woke up with it this morning. I just hope none of my four kids get it!
