Our WDW trip started out as 4 days long. Now it is 5 days long, and DH is trying to convince me that we need 6 days! We will be taking my mom and brother, who have never been. Do you think that 6 days would be better than 5, or is 5 days enough?

In my opinion, 6 days isn't even enough so I would definitely do 6 days if you have the chance.

Depends on a couple of different factors, like what time of year you are going, and have you ever been before...Based on your sig, I would say you have been before. 4 or 5 days in early December or late September might be just fine to see all you want because crowds and lines are low...4 or 5 days would probably not be good if you are there in early July, or Christmas...In the end though...MORE DAYS ARE ALWAYS BETTER ;) :thumbsup2

When asked, I will always vote for more days.

We usually stay 8 nights/9 days & it is never enough.

We started out 6 days/5 nights. Not enough for us. Then we went 7 days/6 nights. Seemed pretty good. Then we went 9 days/8 nights--fun, fun fun!!! We went back to 8 days/7 nights--a little disappointing after the 9 days. This time its 10 days/9 nights, so I'm VERY excited!!! I vote for your 6 day opportunity!!!

Go for 6 days. We have been going yearly for a while and we still haven't seen and done everything there is to do.

Six days will definitely be better than five. IMHO, six days won't be enough!

Definitely 6 days, and that won't even be enough.

I feel like anything under 5 days does not really give you time to do much and enjoy it. Coming from out of town seems like a hassle unless we can at least stay 5-7+ days. So if you have the choice I'd say 6 days.

My take on it from a husbands's point of view... The man is willing to go along with taking his in-laws on the trip. I think he is entitled to a 6th day.

I agree with everyone go for 6 days. The last time we went we wnet for 5 days. While we saw a lot and got through the parks we felt rushed and always on the go. This time we are going 7 days and wont be able to rush because ds who will be 2&1/2 will slow us down.

We are booked in for 20 days on our upcoming trip. Unfortunately, that means we will have to go back next year to do the things that we do not get to this trip. (sigh) :thumbsup2

Six days should be enough for you to make a list of all the things you need to do on YOUR next trip though. :lmao:

Good point.

For us, the longer the better. It is just so much relaxing when you have extra days.

I think 6 days is better than 5, but then I think 10 is better than 9. The more the better. You don't want to rush, especially with a big group. :thumbsup2

I like having at least 10 days at Disney. It's the best way to come back rested because you don't feel rushed. Last summer we had a blast doing all sorts of non-park things while being at Disney. We got to enjoy our resort, sleep in and hang out.

I understand that not everyone can get away for that long. Our minimum stay is 7 days. We prefer more but with 7 we find that we have enough time to pretty much do all that we want to do.

Last June we stayed 11 days and this June we are staying 10 days. I like staying a bit longer than a week so we don't feel so rushed to do everything.
