Fireworks in May will be Fri, Sat, and Sun. Disneyland is in a more residential area. Their agreement with the county is weekends/vacation periods for schools/special events, and the pollution control limits them to a specific number of settings a year. They had to go through a lot to get the extra fireworks for the Christmas time.Where do you check the firework schedule?
I am there in May and have booked a couple of nights in a place with a firework view from the hotel windows, but if there is no fireworks then I will downgrade and save some $$....

Fireworks in Anaheim can be heard/seen for many towns away (Fullerton, Norwalk, Downey, Garden Grove) and most residence don't view them as a positive like we do. Imagine trying to get your kids to sleep on a school night with huge booms going off at 930p....
The OP will be there the 17-20th range if I understand her correctly. The Disneyland official calander shows Fireworks running daily from March 21st to April 20th so I have no idea what the problem is here.

That would be this week. She put "next week", so I would assume (as it looks like everyone else has too), that she meant next week. Maybe she will come back and clearify it for us. Either way, it looks like her question was answered. DL is still a wonderful place, with or without fireworks.![]()
