No New Quests?

Easter is the second most busy time in Disney and VMK isn't having new quests for this time? How sad is that. People plan all year to make a visit and then get there and half of the quests have been retired and nothing new has been brought out to replace them.

That is just bad timing I think. My extended family is going to the first week in May and they are going to get my the new quest stuff but I feel awful for the people there right now.

No. Halloween is during one of the calmest months.

Easter = Spring Break.

DLR should have had SOME new quest or something for Spring Break. They should have gotten these new Land quests out WEEKS ago.

Actually, that's not true. Just because Halloween doesn't belong to a religion doesn't mean everybody celebrates it. I have friends that can't celebrate Halloween because of their religions

Unfortunately you're looking at it backwards. VMK is a way for Disney to get more people to the park. We are going to offer you this cool VMK stuff but you have to physically go to the park. Since people go to the park for Holidays anyway there's no reason to bring out new stuff NOW. Bring it out after Spring break to get people to come that normally wouldn't.

The key here is that they dont need to have something new during Spring Break because people will be at the park anyway.

VMK is a marketing tool. The intent is to increase park numbers and drive sales. The logical time to release something new that is VMK-related would be during the slow times, (in hopes of) making families decide to come again, not during a time when people will be there anyway.

EDIT ADD: Ah, shoot! My bad! Didn't scroll to the end of thread. Coaster already did the Marketing 101 explanation. Moving along.....

Then why do they have the Christmas only Quest? It is during their busiest time of year. Why wouldn't they just do in game items if park attendance does not have anything to do with quests.

The Christmas items are not for the entire month either, they are toward the middle when it starts to get really busy.

Hey I was in there easter till yesterday and I was kinda sad there were no new quest!
