No more Stanby line for A&E?

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think casting for Anna & Elsa is any more difficult than casting for Snow White. And she's everywhere.

Eyes looks very photoshopped to me. That said, even if all that is 100% natural and makeup, the girl has to apply and be old enough (I wonder if this girls isn't 16 quite honestly). And fit more than the qualifications in the look dept. And again, not one bit of any of it matters is the girl doesn't apply.

I thought I remember reading that Disney planned to eventually move to a complete reserved riding system for all of it's attractions. There will be no more stand by lines eventually, every moment of your vacation at Disney will be reserved and scheduled months in advance.

Honestly, it sucks and as they move closer and closer to it, I will move farther and farther away from Disney.

This. I haven't been since FP+. I scheduled mine last week, and it went smoothly. But I detest the idea of having to plan so much of what I am going to be doing at a certain time months in advance. I don't mind ADRs, that's never bothered me, but scheduling my day moment to moment months in advance will drive me away, not draw me in.

Nope. It is real and she is over 18. She had an interview done recently. A lot of people were hoping she would get cast as the Elsa on the TV show coming up in Fall.

I feel the same way. Even if some of it isn't scheduled until day of. And I'm not a fan of a half hour return window. I understand that suits Disney's line management needs, but it sure as heck won't serve my needs.

I've seen that before but only from alarmist bloggers never form any source that I would call even near credible.

I don't see it happening anytime soon. Maybe if magic band 3.0 where its more than anRFID and has 90% of the guts of an iPhone in it and cards are totally gone. And people can virtually queue for an attraction

But not before then.

Did she say she applied and Disney turned her down? Not for OUAT but for the parks

She's not photoshopped. She was making the rounds on various news outlets a few weeks back. As you said, she has to apply or it doesn't matter. Honestly, she is probably making more than Disney would pay doing her own appearances for parties and such.

Working for Disney in a performer role, I believe, requires the actor/actress to be an equity member. Many young actors and actresses don't want to have to join equity right away, so they wouldn't want to work for Disney.

The only reason I say this is because a friend of mine is a performer for a cruise line. She would make an awesome Disney princess/performer, but she went the cruise line route because she didn't want to have to join equity.

What do you mean by "join equity"?

that's right, there was a rumor she may be cast as Elsa for Once Upon A Time next season

She applied for the role but didn't get it. It all started with a photo her friend took of her in her own clothes standing next to an Elsa picture were she's doing the pose and the resemblance is very, very similar and the picture went viral.
She was interviewed on Fox & Friends about it. They asked her if Disney had contacted and she said they hadn't.
She and her sister go around dressed as Anna & Elsa and visit children in hospitals singing with them etc. It's really good what they do. Her sisters looks quite similar to Anna aswell.
She has a Facebook page - Anna Faith, pretty sure she's from Florida aswell.

Her eyes are photoshopped. Her eyes are dark brown.

I agree with many who wonder why the casting for Elsa is so hard...but I also think the hardest part of casting for princesses isn't facial features, but probably size (not too tall, not too short) and acting ability.

I feel that the "test" will end up with this being in MDE. It won't be a FP+ but will still be handed out first come first serve for next in line. So you still have FP+ for pre-booking but this will allow the spur of the moment decisions at Disney without the 1-2 hour waits ever.

This could also lead to reducing standby line queues in the future with new rides being built? Think about only needing a standby line room for 20-30 mins...?
