So I called and talked to MS today and they told me I had to pay for the dp for the entire stay. At SSR and AKL.
Has anyone else heard this??
I was nice, polite, didn't raise my voice, didn't demand a supervisor. Just asked questions. Used my please and thank you's. The woman I talked to was just rude and told me" You have to pay it for the entire time". I tried to explain I was checking out and then back in at another hotel and she didn't want to hear it.
I was frustrated and let it be for now.
I will call again on Monday.
I'm not paying another $530 for a dining plan. Looks like we will use some of that money and get a rental car and go to the store and get groceries.

I was afraid this could happen. The "upgraded" software automatically bundles reservations under one number, even when they are at different resorts
This didn't happen before the "upgrade"
if done properly it would help someone with a split stay pool the entire stay's points, but I'm sure that is a infrequent desire

But I'm just thinking here, so please no flames. I've decided that I might be willing to do a split stay as some people do to get the DDP on only one part of our stay. I was told today by MS that this is possible to do (at least as of now
). AKV is our home resort, and we enjoy staying in 2BR savanna view rooms. We enjoy both Jambo and Kidani. If I book a trip for 2 nights in a 2BR at Jambo, then book 3 nights in a 2 BR at Kidani, since I'm changing rooms (even though they are the same room type), would they be 2 separate reservations? Would I be able to get the DDP for the first 2 nights at Jambo, and no DDP on the last 3 nights at Kidani? Like I said, just thinking...hmmm....
