No more searching

I've no idea where to post this, but I'm on this thread most often....has anyone else noticed how awful the "search" feature is now? I used to be able to get answers so fast, and now, my searches turn up nothing but trip reports, b/c one word happens to be mentioned in it. What gives?

I have noticed this happening to me more and more lately also. I'm not sure why it's happening, but it sure is aggravating.

YES way way awful. I had no problems waiting a few seconds for the blue dog. It took me to exactly where i wanted to go.

The results were better before but I got so tired of waiting with the little blue dog that I had almost totally given up doing searches.

I know this sounds wacky... but when I search the disboards.. I actually use google...

I type in, for example, disboards packing tips

When google displays the search results... look under the first indented item and you'll see "display more results from the disboards" Click on that...

It will then show you only disboards.com results...

It's quicker...

I think this is what you guys mean...! I hope this helps...!!!!!

It is a pain. What Ive started doing, if I know what forum my answer should be in, is use the search this forum option. That way the trip reports dont show up.
