Ok maybe the title is a bit melodramatic but no rooms anywhere at the YC or the GF?
Has anyone ever heard or run into this?
We're getting married in January and have our room block (which runs Jan 7-Jan 16) at the Grand Floridian, the Yacht Club, and the Port Orleans Riverside. We had a guest told last week and today that not only was our block full but that there were no rooms ANYWHERE at the GF or the YC. I checked with our coordinator last week and she told us that was not the case, that there were other rooms at those resorts. However this evening a guest was told the same thing. By the time I found out about it, the wedding reservations phone number was closed for the day.
Is it really possible (especially with a tanking world economy) that the GF and YC are booked solid?
TIA!
