I don't know if this has already been mentioned..we just got back last night..but the wonderful rolls and honey butter they had at LTT are now GONE! :guilty:

Crazy I know, but they were one of my favorite things, and we always looked forward to having them.

They now have just standard hard rolls with regular butter. Our waiter said all this is part of resort wide changes, and soon each restaurant will be switching to serve the same!

Now our food, and service was great, and the new rolls aren't bad.
We'll definitely continue to eat there, but I'll miss my favorite!

We also ate at Ohana for the first time since the menu changed, and thought it was great! I did miss the old wontons and shrimp though! The new shrimp was good, and the potatoes were fantastic.
I'm a dessert person, and agree with most here that the new dessert is to die for! Best dessert we had all trip!!

Looking forward to going there again!

Biggest surprise for us this trip was TTS! HORRIBLE!!!! It used to be one of our very favorites, and I'm VERY sorry to report that this time it was beyond bad!
We will not be eating here again unless something changes!

Did Boatrights this trip for the first time, and did not like it as well. We won't be returning here anytime soon.

Two of the most disliked places on the boards turned out to be some of our favorite meals of the trip. I guess we're just lucky....or have no taste :teeth: ...but we eat at both Sci-Fi and RFC several times a year, and are always pleased. At Sci-Fi I had a Reuben and onion rings, and at RFC the Rasta Pasta..both were excellent!

Most of the rest we had was CS, and all was pretty good..except the cheese burger at POFQ! Worst one I've EVER had!

Any questions...ask away! :goodvibes

I'm drawing a blank - what is TTS? Oh wait - Tony's Town Square? I never liked it there much, either.

Thanks for the heads up! We loved the rolls and honey butter at LTT--maybe they will bring it back. I certainly hope so. If not, next time try the Garden Grill...the orange butter is delicious and the rolls are soft and good.

See that's part of the problem I have with this! Our waiter told us that ALL restaurants will soon be serving these same new rolls!

He said that it made things easier (and cheaper no doubt), to just order from one vendor rather than several for different restaurants!

He said that a lot of the restaurants will be changing things to be more pleasing to the masses. In his words...a simpler pallette.

I thought things were moving in the opposite direction, with some of the additions of like...the Noodle Station, and some of the new offerings at SSFF, etc.. :confused3

Maybe he's wrong...I hope so!!

The rolls and honey butter will definitely be missed, but as long as I can start my vacation off with a salad and strawberry vinaigrette, I'll survive.

:sad2: There are already many places in WDW that cater to those who'd rather not stray away from hot dogs and chicken fingers. I wish the table service restaurants would keep the special touches in their recipes.

It's sad to read that WDW is "dumbing down" their menus. Having the same rolls and plain butter at most (or all) table service meals would take away from the individuality of each meal.
