No More Premium Dining Package?

I haven't been closely following the dining plan changes set for 2008. We always go with the premium dining package. Is it being discontinued for the deluxe dining plan?

I have heard that plat and premium will still be around. Deluxe is just another dining only option. Nothing has indicated they are getting rid of the dining and recreation plans.

Im am really going to miss the premium plan. I really hope they do keep it.

Ditto. The new, rumored Deluxe DDP is similar to the MYW Premium Package without the recreational benefits. It doesn't include the golf, Cirque tickets, nor admission to Children's Activity Centers, etc. However, it does include the breakfast, lunch, or dinner TS/CS meal, 2 snacks, and a refillable mug.

Number of Meals During Your Package Stay
The Disney Dining Plan includes one (1) Quick Service Meal, one (1) Snack, and one (1) Table Service Meal per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages 3 and over.


Q. Are gratuities included?
A. No, gratuities are not included unless otherwise indicated. An 18% gratuity will be added automatically for parties of 6 or more. A gratuity may also be added automatically
for ordered items that are not included in the Disney Dining Plan (e.g. alcoholic beverages).

Check out the links someone posted for platinum and just insert premium instead. No gratuties included but it looks like snacks have been added.

Just to clarify...the premium is unlimited meals (3 per day) anywhere you want. There's no counting of signature, CS, TS, etc.
