it is very nice to pick on deluxes?

Yeah.. people are just as rude everywhere! Wait... I have never been kept up til 3am at a mederate by a man yelling at the top of his lungs. I cant remember large groups of cheerleaders taking over the pool. Yeah I agree all resorts have just as many rude people:lmao:  I agree with BAMAFAN:sad2:

Sorry are you saying that loud, rude obnoxious guests don't exist at anything other than value resorts?

Loud, rude, obnoxious guests don't exist at non-value resorts?

I know that can't be true, because I stay at Deluxes every time. If I'm there, then we know the Deluxes have at least one loud, rude, obnoxious guest among them. ;)

You have a greater chance is what I am saying... never mind.. I shouldnt answer these posts:eek:

Ok, I get what you are saying now.

So in that same way of thinking, the next 3 likely resorts for you to see these problems would be: Carribean Beach, Port Orleans Riverside, and Coronado Springs, as they are the next three biggest resorts.

Pop is a value for me and my family and it enables me to go to Disney for several days but next year I have booked POFQ for 7 days instead of 10. We had such a bad time at pop that we would rather pay more and stay less time than to go back [to Pop Century].
Girl, you crazy! I could have been pooped on by someone who decided the balcony above me was the best option and I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it was a result of staying at a value resort.

If you had that bad of a time at the Pop, then go to one of the All-Stars. Don't take three days away from "The Happiest Place on Earth" just because of a few bad apples. If you do, then they have won!

:thumbsup2

I have never got that impression from the values. In August, I saw as many or more people drinking around the pool at the Poly than I ever have at POP.

If Disney didn't want us drinking by the pool, they wouldn't sell alcohol by the pool. And I know that at the Poly, the bar is real close to the pool. But I was just looking. I wasn't me you saw sitting in a chair by the pool with a glass in one hand, a book in the other. No sir, I would never commit such a henious crime.:rolleyes1

Amen M&Ms! My first trip to the world I stayed at the WL...6 nights for $1200 (just for the room). I am staying at the POP w/free dining and tickets for 9 nights for around $1300. :woohoo: :woohoo:

I honestly wouldn't care if the POP sat on cinder blocks for that kind of savings!

I was at POR from 8/20 to 8/30 and there were lots of rude guests there too. In fact I noticed at the parks that guest in general were much ruder this year. Your one bus incident occured everytime we tried to get on a bus at POR. I think you'll miss the value bus lines at the moderates and deluxe resorts-it a real free for all when going to the parks.

I did like POFQ much better than POR mostly due to the layout and small size.

I'll be back to WDW in November and I'm looking forward to returning to Pop.

Okay, I gotta ask – without checking closely (or checking vital signs) or prior observation… how do you tell the difference between ‘sleeping’ and ‘passed out cold’?

Hmmm...let's see, 1am in the morning, guy is at a table, beer bottles all around him, non-responsive to the laughs and people joking and 'trying' to startle him awake as they pass and take pictures at the 'condition' his friends (I assume?) had left him there in...THAT was a pretty good indication to me.

Then you were obviously around a different crowd of people than those I saw.:confused3 Just means that was what I personally experienced.:)

Sometimes ya just know someone is passed out cold. A fresh pile of vomit next to them could be an indication for instance.
