No more PI! Where to drink in the evenings?

A question for you WDW old-timers:

Before Pleasure Island, did the resort lounges stay open longer? I was not, shall we say, of drinking age in the seventies and eighties.

Definitely check out Cafe Rix Lounge. It stays open until 2am.
