I was at Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station today with some friends, one of whom specifically wanted Pad Thai. They have changed the menu again and taken the Shrimp Pad Thai off the menu. It appears they are dumbing the menu down. I did not try to copy the menu, but there does not appear to be anything special anymore.

It was OPEN!? When we were there on Thursday, it was our first choice for lunch but it was closed. The menu looked good. It would be a shame if they took pad Thai off. Maybe next time...

I too am surprised it was open. It's ashame they can't keep it going all the time and feel the need to change the menu.

From what I've read, though there are some of us who love the cuisine they tried to present there, it simply didn't go over well-enough to warrant keeping the place open and now keeping the menu the same. Great idea, but they built it and we didn't come, so now they keep it closed most of the time, and they're adjusting the menu to better match what the general public actually wants.

Ugh, this is really starting to annoy me. FH and I loved this place when it first opened, but I'm getting very mad at this dumbing down of the menu.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm afraid soon it's going to turn into just another Chinese takeout type restaurant.

I find it very frustrating, in general. I love sushi and we have so many places like 99 Restaurant

, Fridays, Applebees, etc., around here -- why do we need so many, when there are so few sushi restaurants?

Well, the answer is simple. Many people prefer bland or otherwise undistinguished food. Oh well... we'll need to make-do with the variety of choices that is commensurate with our numbers.

OMG...my DH loved, loved, loved his meal here, so much so it was a repeat place for him. He is already talking about going back in May. Hopefully they'll bring the shrimp pad thai back, and it'll be open.

Odd, when were there in early December, the restaurant was very busy.

A shame. I had the Pad Thai last spring and it stands out in my mind as probably the best counter-service meal I've ever had at WDW. We stopped there again yesterday and they had menus hurriedly printed on yellow paper propped up near the registers. The choices were very limited and sounded depressing--things like tofu vegetable bowl. After examining the menu and on noticing that they had provided no additional heat on a very cold day, we decided to brave the crowds at Cosmic Ray's. And just when I thought the Magic Kingdom was finally getting some great fast food.

We might be in the minority, but we thought the Noodle Station was terrible. the only thing we could come close to choking down was the egg rolls. The two different noodle bowls we had were the worst.

I know variety is what makes the world go round, but for us we'll pass on the Noodle station.

It was open this past Monday.

Anyone have a sample of the new menu? I'd be interested since we were going to try this place in May. Probably could change by then I guess.

DH and I agree, worst food we ever ate......would love for them to keep up the idea but please make the food better......

Ooh, they still do have that? That's good to hear, I'd been wanting to try it.

I wouldn't count on finding anything there or even finding the place open. Having the menu printed on sheets of paper instead of up on the board made it look like they were either in the process of changing their menu, just printed menus for whatever they happened to have that day, or not bothering with updating the menu board because they were going to close anyway. The kid's meals and drinks were still up on the menu board, but the rest was on those sheets of yellow paper. The menu was so limited, I can still remember it:

Chicken Noodle Bowl
Vegetable Tofu Bowl
Teriyaki Chicken on Rice
Beef and Broccoli on Rice
Chicken Caesar Salad
Carrot Cake
Chocolate Cake

Just depressing. It used to be such a great place to eat.

I totally agree...we absolutely hated this meal.

We loved it at Christmas and have been looking forward to going there again! Boo. Very bad news.

We'll probably eventually find it open since we live here, but bah on that menu. I guess it really has turned into mall food court Chinese. :( Back when they very first opened, the noodle bowl was one of the best I've had. Now I'm afraid to waste the money after seeing what they've changed.

We ate there in October, and I loved the Shrimp Pad Thai, and especially the Ginger Creme Brulee. I'm beyond disappointed to hear those items are history.
