No more McDonalds?

Is it true? Has WDW eliminated all McDonalds? We loved getting fries next to Splash Mountain, at EPCOT in World Showcase and eating nuggets at Animal Kingdom!
Can someone please clarify?

Haven't been there since Spring 2008. McDonald's food was still available in Animal Kingdom in the Restaurantasaurus, but they didn't identify the food by the McDonald names. Looks like the same menu (with Hot Dogs now). Also, the Village Fry Shoppe in Magic Kingdom is still there as far as I know.

The contract was up and it was not renewed. So no more McDonald's at WDW

Yep gone. Not true they haven't been there since Spring 2008 though- at least at Epcot. We got McDonalds for DD in December 2008 when she was there on her 1st visit at the age of 2 yrs 10 months. We were there again 2 weeks ago and the missing Epcot McDonalds did not sit well with my now 3 year old. She remembered getting McDonalds at Epcot last year. She demanded McDonalds fries at Epcot and did not like our explanation that it was not there any more. McDonalds is still at DTD.

I believe it is just the McD's in the parks that is gone. The one at DTD and close to All Star is still there.

All McDonalds outlets inside the theme parks were recently removed and replaced with what appears to be Disney-run snack stands. The Epcot outlet was just changed over in March. Restaurantosaurus at AK stopped serving McDonalds items last year.

There is still a McDonalds near the All Star Resorts, although word is that it was recently closed for renovations (not permanently), and there is still a McDonalds at Downtown Disney.

You're not alone. I'm glad to see them gone. Why go all the way to WDW and eat McDonald's - there's plenty of other choices. Actually, I never let my kids have McDonald's while we were there - never gave them that option. I just didn't think McDonald's belonged inside of the Disney parks.

No, it is garbage and I don't eat it and can not imagine putting it in a child's body.
