No More Kleenex In Canada - And a Poll!

I'll be the first to 'fess up that we just use toilet paper to blow noses. Not sure why. I think I just don't want the burden of keeping the house stocked with an additional product. I do keep the cotton face pads on hand for facial needs or polish removal.

If a guest asks for a tissue, they are offered a paper napkin. Classy

I almost mentioned in my last post that we don’t buy paper napkins either. We find a way to do everything we need with paper towels or toilet paper!

You won’t be missing much without Kleenex. They’ve redesigned the boxes & they’re so ugly. I have bought Kleenex brand for as long as I can remember. But I am now trying out other brands. I can’t look at those ugly boxes in my rooms every day.

But even tho I’ve bought Kleenex for years, I refer to them all as tissues.

Yes the boxes at Costco are not pretty. The other ones they sell are 3 ply that are nicer looking.

I always call it Kleenex.

No napkins either just paper towel.

Oh I guess I do by seasonal napkins forgot. Thanksgiving and Christmas when people come for dinner.

Might be hard to find.

The one place I have seen these are at dollar stores. Often a house brand or no recognizable brand. And often they're licensed with cartoon characters. I think I've bought some with Disney-Pixar Cars characters as well as Minions.

That brand isn't available here. Even if it was, it's a hard NO to lotion tissues because of our glasses.

Good to hear. The napkin part, not the trash part. I'm sure you'll lay a lovely table when you serve me the roasted mushrooms. Can't wait!

It’s all Kleenex to me, but I do buy that brand most often. Or the Meijer brand. Used to love Puffs, they were the softest, but they must have cheapened them up because they’re not at all soft anymore.

I usually usually use the word tissues . I usually buy either Kleenex or Puffs ( no lotion varieties). Choice is usually based on price or what is in stock.

I only blow my nose in the cloth napkins at the finest establishments. No paper napkin nose blowing for me.
